Experience
2 years of tutoring experience in college Mathematics and Physics. I worked for the Student Athlete Enhancement Center and the Physics department at MTSU. I am able to explain the concepts of a subject in several different ways and have learned to identify reasons why a student is not understanding specific material. Whether because it was taught to them in a way they are misunderstanding a point or because a key conception was left out. Also, I approach my tutoring from different angles based on the student's mind. Some students like a picture drawn others just need practice for example. In high school I took AP chemistry and physics so I know how hard the subject at times is unapproachable. Also I have taken the placement tests in those subjects that got me college credit in my undergraduate degree (saving time and money). In general I enjoy teaching/tutoring an eager student or at least the ones who pay attention. Sure sometimes that's not the case, but I try my best to make the learning process spark some curiosity in one's thought. Curiosity is the only reason I studied physics.
